About the Artist
My passion for painting began later in life. I was looking for a new hobby and discovered painting--I was hooked! My medium is watercolor/watermedia and I use traditional and experimental techniques to create impressionistic works on paper. My subject matter is varied and reflects my love of nature. I also enjoy Chinese brush painting and Sumi-e using ink and watercolor on rice paper. I have taken clesses with nationally and internationally known artists. My cottage studio "The Painting Place" is located in Mt. Gretna, PA.
